Study of pollutants leaching from the silicate based sorbents

Anotation	Proposed project deals with releasing of the selected pollutants (Cu(II), Pb(II) and phenol) after their solidification in the structure of non-activated and alkali-activated blast furnace slag. Solid materials loaded by individual pollutants will be dried and/or fired at the various temperatures. All prepared materials will be characterized by the infrared spectrometry. The leaching experiments will be carried out with all prepared materials for determination of the stability of pollutant?s fixation in the sample matrix. Selected materials will be analysed by the X-ray fluorescence and X-ray powder difraction for the estimation of the phase composition.
