AnotationThe subjects of this study are evolutionary processes forming aspects of behavioral-ecology, interspecific hybridisation, the structure of populations and gene flow between studied groups of vertebrates. The research in behavioral ecology will be realised by direct observation of captured animals, meanwhile the research of reproductive strategies of fish will be done by molecular genetic and genomic methods on individuals from wild populations. Both subjects of this study are in accordance with ongoing research and theses of collaborating members and their supervisors. These topics are a) Reproductive dynamics of loaches of genus Cobitis in anthropogenic and natural populations of middle and east Peri-Mediterrran, b) suckling and allosuckling behaviour in several species of Caprinae, c) Grooming and social interactions in tribe Cercopithecini.
