AnotationMan affects different components of the landscape system in different spatial and temporal scales and in different intensity. In general, the intensity of anthropogenic influence is increasing due to the ever-growing human population and increasing consumption per capita. The situation is further complicated by global climate change. For these reasons, it is important to know the partial natural processes in the landscape system to be able to estimate its future responses. This project is therefore multidisciplinary focused on the knowledge of partial natural processes and human influence on them. Specifically, the following problems will be solved: (i) research on gravel benches, confluence zones and bed morphology, (ii) hydrological regime of rivers in the context of basin geology, (iii) degradation of the physical properties of forest soils, (iv) the influence of Raabization on the Moravian landscape in the 18th century, (v) research of the development and composition of the Ostrava heaps, (vi) ecosystem services of the water course. The methods of geomorphological mapping, sedimentary analysis, sonar scanning of the bottom, collection of undisturbed soil samples, analysis of historical maps and evaluation of ecosystem services will be used to fulfill the objectives.
