Job Description/Responsibilities

• conducts independent research in the field of planning (strategic, community, urban) in relation to energy;
• studies new findings in the field and their application in research tasks;
• solves scientific tasks within the framework of the project's research objectives;
• participates in the application of research results in practice;
• publishes in renowned foreign journals and at conferences registered in the WoS or Scopus databases;
• cooperates with foreign partners and the application sphere in the field of the research project;
• participates in acquiring new contacts
  
  

Qualifications and other requirements

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in social sciences such as geography, economics, sociology, environmental studies, etc.
• Specification of international research profile: R2 – Recognized
• The researcher must be a co-author of publications in respected international journals (co-authorship of articles in WoS/Scopus)
• Experience with empirical field research – quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, content analysis, discourse analysis)
• Ability to collaborate in a team on scientific and research tasks in the field of social sciences and actively publish in internationally recognized journals on WoS
• Experience with tools and software for qualitative data analysis is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with knowledge of spoken and written English (equivalent to at least level B2)
• Independent, responsible, and creative approach to work.

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the candidates by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee.

The Dean of the Faculty reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and also the right not to select any candidate. The selection procedure may be cancelled or repeated at the initiative of the Dean of the Faculty.
