Qualifications

• University degree in physics or chemistry
• Doctoral degree preferably focused on physics, physical chemistry or another relevant field completed by the start date of employment
• Provable scientific results focused on computational physics or chemistry corresponding to the length of previous scientific work; publications in a quality journals with impact factor, out of which at least one as the lead/first author
• Preconditions for the development of scientific activities in the group/team of nanostructure physics at the department
• Basic experience with conducting seminars/excercises at a university, preconditions for pedagogical work
• English language competency, B2 level
• EU research level: R2 Recognised
• Self-reliance, reliability, teamwork skills

• guaranteeing and teaching subjects in bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes
• scientific and publishing activity in the field of computational physics/chemistry
• supervising and opposing theses
• membership in the commissions of state final examinations in bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the candidates by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee.

The Dean of the Faculty reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and the right to also not select any candidate. The Dean of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava may also cancel or repeat the selection procedure.
