The Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava announces a job vacancy at the Department of Biology and Ecology

Qualification and other Requirements

• Master´s degree in biology or ecology
• Ph.D. degree in biology with a focus on microbiology or ecotoxicology
• English language competency B2 or higher
• publication activities in the above mentioned fields
• EU research level: R2 - Recognized
• self-reliance, responsibility, teamwork skills
• communication and organisational skills
  
  

Job description

• teaching subjects focused on microbiology and ecotoxicology (tutorials)
• scientific activity in the field of microbiology and ecotoxicology
• cooperation in supervising and opposing bachelor´s theses

All the documents required are to be sent to  by August 8^th, 2022.

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the applicants by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee. The selected applicants will be invited to participate in the personal interviews.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and also the right to select no candidate. The Dean of the Faculty of Science is also entitled to cancel or repeat the selection procedure

The interviews will be held in Czech.
