Job description
- Postdoctoral position in the research group: Trypanosomatid Biology Laboratory
- Responsibilities:
- To perform bioinformatic analyses (genome, transcriptome, proteome) of Trypanosomatidae
- To perform bioinformatic analyses (genome, transcriptome, proteome) of trypanosomatids′ endobionts (bacteria and viruses)
- To be involved in other on-going projects in the Laboratory of trypanosomatid biology, such as those analysing evolutionary biology of parasitism and mechanisms of translation in these flagellates
- To collaborate with other members of the laboratory
Qualification requirements – required
- Ph.D. in Biology, Biomedicine, Bioinformatics or a related field for Ph.D. degree obtained abroad, a recognition/certification of the foreign university degree will be required
- Fluent English

- R2 – Recognized

- 100 % (or by agreement)
The duration of employment
- the contract till the 31st of December 2027, with a possibility of extension

- 15 August 2026 (or by agreement)
