Job Description/Responsibilities

• To perform bioinformatic analyses (genome, transcriptome, proteome) of Trypanosomatidae.
• To perform bioinformatic analyses (genome, transcriptome, proteome) of trypanosomatids’ endobionts (bacteria and viruses).
• To be involved in other on-going projects in the Laboratory of trypanosomatid biology, such as those analysing evolutionary biology of parasitism and mechanisms of translation in these flagellates.
• To collaborate with other members of the laboratory.
  
  

Qualifications and other requirements

• Ph.D. in Biology, Biomedicine, Bioinformatics or a related field. For Ph.D. degree obtained abroad, a recognition/certification of the foreign university degree will be required
• EU research level: R2 - recognized
• Fluent English
