The Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava announces a vacancy for a position at the Department of Chemistry
- VP2 (BCH) LERCO Project Officer
Expected start date:
- 1 October 2024 (or by agreement)
Estimated amount of work:
- 20 % (or by agreement)
Qualifications and other requirements
- PhD degree in Biochemistry or Bioanalytical Chemistry
- Experience in electrochemical analytical methods
- Relevant publications (at least 2-3 WoS articles as lead or corresponding author)
- International experience (at least 3 months abroad)
- EU research level: R2 - Recognized
- English language skills at B2 level
Job description/responsibilities
- Solving complex scientific research tasks independently within projects
- Initiate other research projects
- Work with the research team
- Establish contractual research collaborations
- Securing research funding
- Actively publish
- Participating in the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses
