The Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure to fill the position at the Department of Chemistry

• VP2 (BCH) Researcher (junior / postdoc) of the LERCO project
  
  

Expected start:

• 1^st of March 2025 (or by agreement)
  
  

Expected workload:

• 100 % (or by agreement)
  
  

Qualification and co-requirements:

• PhD degree in biochemistry or bioanalytical chemistry
• Excellent results achieved during PhD studies documented by significant publication activity
• Ability to focus research on the synthesis of nanostructured materials and their applications in the field of detection, separation and analysis of biomolecules; experience in these areas is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of English, ability to communicate scientific results at an international level
• EU research level: R2 – Recognized/R3 – Established
  
  

Job description:

• Development and optimization of new nanostructured materials to improve methods for detection, separation and analysis of biomolecules
• Active cooperation on research projects with the opportunity to develop their own scientific ideas and approaches
• Cooperation on the commercialization of research results
• Publication of research results in prestigious scientific journals
