The Dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava announces a job vacancy at the Department of Biology and Ecology (f/m)

Job description/responsibilities

• To perform geospatial analysis of cultural, isotopic, bioarchaeological, and genetic data relevant for studying migrations in Bronze Age to Medieval Eurasia
• To collect and process archaeological descriptions of burials from the literature
• To collaborate with other members of the laboratory
  
  

Qualifications and other requirements

• Master's degree in Archaeology, Geography, History or a related field. For a degree obtained abroad, a recognition/certification of the foreign university degree will be required
• Research experience in archaeology, geography, or archaeogenetics (at least two years)
• EU research level: R1 – First stage
• English at the B2 level

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the candidates by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee.
