AnotationStudying current and historical changes in the landscape allows these changes to be defined, understood, learned from, and mitigate the negative impacts on humans. As the landscape is varied, so is the presented project, which consists of three sub-parts. In the section entitled Landslide landscape in the Czech Republic and Argentina (i), the project deals with large-scale landslides in the Patagonian Andes and the landslide landscape in the Hrubý Jeseník mountains. In the second part dedicated to the Fluvial Landscape (ii), funding will enable the creation of a database of revitalization actions from the entire Czech Republic and will lead to a comparison of gravel benches in natural and regulated sections of rivers. In its third part, subtitled The landscape of the Ostrava-Karvina region and the foothill and lowland landscape (iii), the research will be focused on exploring the phenomenon of spoil tips in the Ostrava-Karvina region and evaluating the impact of land reform (raabization) on interventions in the foothill and lowland landscape.
