AnotationThe presented project solves partial questions of biological diversity from different points of view (ecology, phylogeny, population genetics and ethology) on selected model groups (insects, crustaceans, fish and mammals), which follow on from the research goals of individual supervisors and research teams. As part of the project, several research goals are set out, which are thematically defined in the following areas: A) Systematic and phylogenetic studies of selected groups of decapod crustaceans (Decapoda) - symbiotic shrimps Palaemonidae and Alpheidae and crabs of the family Portunidae; B) Molecular phylogeny and integrative taxonomy of selected taxa of the family Cecidomyiidae (Diptera); C) Issues of nursing and allonursing of several selected species of the Caprinae subfamily; D) Grooming and social interaction in vervets; E) Ecological interactions of insects in relation to biodiversity; F) Molecular phylogeny and classification of the family Forficulidae (Dermaptera); G) Description of a new hybrid zone of ground-gudgeons of the genus Cobitis (Linnaeus, 1758); H) Ecology, diversity and ethology of tyrphophilic and endophytic species of dragonflies. At the same time, the objectives correspond to the partial research questions solved within the framework of the dissertations. Manuscripts for the selected outputs will be submitted to professional impact journals, partial results will then be presented at national and international scientific conferences, if possible.
