Annotation:Aim of the subject is to introduce students to selected microbiological methods. Focus is given to methods used for microorganism diagnostics, especially to biochemical tests, their advantages and disadvantages and possibi-lities their applicability in modern microbiology. Also to acquisition mutated strains and work with them, verifi-cation of their properties and ways of long-term storage of bacterial and fungal strains in collections. Also to using modified bacterial strains in screening of mutagenicity in short-term detection systems.
