Annotation:The aim of the course is to introduce the problematics of individual components of the landscape transformed and determined by mining or quarrying (montane landscape), including the history of mining or mining techniques. But since the individual parts form a whole, a system approach is applied during the course, describing the whole geoecosystem of the montane landscape and its functioning. Chapters also include restoration and revitalization issues, cultural or architectural value evaluation and possibilities of future use. Some of the lectures will be held in the field. In case of non-participation of foreign students within the course, the teaching language will be Czech.
