Annotation: | The aim of this subject is to interpret behavioural ecology as the discipline evolved from basic ethology. Therefore, students will learn the basic ethological methods which are used to test the most important hypotheses in behavioural ecology. The practice will be carried out at the Ostrava Zoo where group-living mammals and/or birds will be observed. In addition, students will learn the way how to manage the recorded data for further analyses. |
