| Annotation: | The aim of the subject is to demonstrate basic bioinformatic problems and tools that can be used to solve them. Publicly available online tools are mostly used for demonstration. Presented problems and tools are carefully chosen to cover broad spectrum of approaches, which are implemented in modern scientific projects as well as in practically oriented sphere. During combined lecture and practical course, model problems are presented and their solutions are explained step by step. Afterwards, students are encouraged to solve similar problems by themselves, what stimulates their independent thinking. Finally, the solutions of problems are demonstrated by the lecturer. |
