Habilitations, Professorships and Honorary Doctorates

The Faculty of Science of the University of Ostrava has been approved to carry out habilitation procedures and the procedures of the appointment of professors in the following disciplines.

Under the Art. 82 of the Act. No. 111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendment to Other Acts (Higher Education Act), the authorization of a higher education institution or any of its component part to carry out habilitation procedures or procedures of the appointment of professors is subject to accreditation that is granted by the Office of Accreditation.
