AnotationThe aim of the project is to develop and analyze mixed substrates or auxiliary soil substances or plant preparations (hereinafter referred to as substrates) using dewatered stabilized sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants. The substrates will be usable for forest and agricultural applications. The optimization of the composition and properties will be performed mainly for the cultivation of tree seedlings intended for the remediation of the "bark beetle calamity" and for other purposes (cultivation of ornamental plants and crops). The proportion of sanitized sludge is assumed to be up to 50% by weight of the total dry matter of the substrate. Other components of the substrates will be stabilized biomass such as peat, compost, solid fraction of anaerobic digestates.
