SMART-X: SMART technologies to improve the quality of life in cities and regions
The purpose of the project is to support capacity development for relevant quality aplication research via intensification of long-term inter-sectoral cooperation in the thematic field of SMART technologies applicable for improving the life-quality of citizens within the urban and regional development. The project implies two-way transfer of knowledge and experience among research and application institutions and entities involved, both in Czechia and internationally. Pilot experimental research projects will be conductued in several diferent fields of application of smart technologie such as e-learning, digital inclusion, air quality, transport, energy, urban planning etc. The project will examine the life-quality of citizens in respect to SMART technologies applications. Partner of the project is among other research institutions and private companies Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial engineering IAO.
