Annotation:
The course focuses on the chemistry of the s and p elements. The lectures cover the occurrence, properties, preparation, production, and, where applicable, uses of individual elements and their compounds. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between the configuration of the valence shell and chemical properties.
Lectures are held in Czech language. Education materials and consultations are available in English for foreign students.
