Annotation: | Aims The students practically familiarize themselves with the experimental procedures for the quantification of the texture parameters of solids. In the laboratory practice, students will perform adsorption of the compound from both liquid (iodine adsorption) and gaseous phases (nitrogen, argon adsorption) as well as the calorimetric measurement of immersion heat. Students will adequately evaluate obtained data (calculation of adsorption capacity of the material, its specific surface area and pore size distribution) and will interpret the results. Lectures are held in Czech language. Education materials and consultations are available in English for foreign students. |
