AnotationThe proposed project deals with current research topics within the field of political geography. These include the position of de facto states in the international community, the issue of hybrid threats represented by Russia or European political parties cooperating with Russia (specifically Fidesz), the issue of borders and, last but not least, the phenomenon of weakening democracy, which is increasingly being discussed in academic circles. The general goal is to demonstrate how political geography can contribute to the understanding of these contemporary phenomena. Partial goals reflect the individual research directions.
